Strawberry Phirni with Yakult

Ingredient

Cooking time :

1.5 cup

milk

2 tbsp

milkmaid

2 tbsp

rice flour

2 tbsp

sugar

1 bottle

Yakult

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Bring milk to a boil and then on low flame, cook till it it reduces to half.

* Step 2

Mix rice flour in 2 tbsp milk and add this paste to the simmering milk. Keep stirring to avoid getting any lumps.

* Step 3

When the mixture thickens, add sugar and milkmaid. Cook for another 5 mins.

* Step 4

After cooking sugar, take the phirni off the flame and let it cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

* Step 5

After chilling, mix strawberry puree (fresh strawberries blitzed in blender would also work).

* Step 6

Keep the phirni refrigerated.

* Step 7

At the time of serving, add a kick of health by diluting the phirni with Yakult.

* Step 8

Garnish with pistachios and chopped strawberries. Served immediately.
