Jowar Roti
Ingredient
Food ration :
1 serving
Cooking time :
15 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a vessel put together water, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves. Let the water come to a boil. Once it boils, add the jowar flour and mix well.
* Step 2
Cover the mixture, switch off flame and set aside for a few minutes. When cool enough to touch, knead it well to get a soft dough. You can wet your palms while doing so in case the dough sticks. Divide into 2 balls.
* Step 3
Roll out the rotis using a rolling pin. Heat a tawa and place the jowar Roti onto it. Cook well from both sides till you see brown spots and roti puffs up. Remove and apply desi ghee on it. Enjoy with sabzi or chutney of choice.
