Kids hate karela? Try making it this way. It does not taste bitter at all.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Scrap the karela well, drawer it and slice them thinly. Apply some salt and give a slight sprinkle of water. Crush a bit with your hands and set aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze out all the water from the karela and deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a vessel. Add whole zeera, sliced onions and saute to golden. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, haldi, red chilli powder, green chillies and saute well till the masala is well cooked. Add Gur imli and mix well.
* Step 3
Just before serving add the fried karela and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Yummy karela is ready to Enjoy!!
