Karela Gosht
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Scrape the karela and cut it open in half vertically. Remove the seeds. Chop the karela into thin slices. Apply 1 tsp salt and crush a bit with your hands. Set aside for 30 minutes. Squeeze out all the water and deep fry till crisp. Set aside.
* Step 2
Chop the mutton into small pieces.
* Step 3
Heat ghee in the pressure cooker. Add mutton, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt, pepper, garam masala, tomatoes and green chillies. Saute well on high flame till all water dries up and mutton is well roasted. Add 1/2 cup water and cook for one whistle and 15 minutes or till the mutton is tender. Cook on open flame till water is almost dry. Add lemon juice and mix well. Before serving mix in the fried karela. Enjoy!
