Methi Theplas Or Methi Na Thepla
#cookingwithleafygreen A Traditional Gujarati flatbread made from fenugreek ( methi) leaves , whole wheat flour and other spices.Every household has their own recipe for making thepla.Methi theplas are soft and can be eaten hot or cold. It does not need any side dish , but curd ;chhunda or mango pickle is a great option. It is excellent choice for breakfast , snack ; your lunchbox and travelling. Oh , for your kids too.Just roll it and have it.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Separate fenugreek leaves from the stem and chop it finely.
* Step 2
Immerse methi leaves in water for 15-20mins.
* Step 3
Combine all the above ingredients and make a sotf dough by adding water little by little.
* Step 4
Allow it to rest for 10mins.
* Step 5
Cover it with a muslin cloth.
* Step 7
Make small balls of the dough.
* Step 8
Take one ball ;rub it in with dry wheat flour, roll it on a rolling board and make disc size small chappati.
* Step 9
Apply little oil, cook on both sides by flipping it.
