Liver, Bacon and Greens
A variation on a family favourite. A very good Iron and Vitamin booster if you are feeling under the weather!!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Put the chopped onions, crushed garlic and oil in a large saucepan. Cook gently until the mix just starts to go golden brown.
* Step 2
Chop up bacon into bite sized pieces and add to the mix.
* Step 3
While the Bacon and mix is cooking, cut the Liver into bite size pieces, also the green Pepper, add to mix and give a good stir.
* Step 4
Tip in the can of chopped Tomatoes, stir well. Add stock cubes, if using. Keep heating gently.
* Step 5
Cook until all ingredients are cooked through. Serve hot with potatoes or bread, enjoy!!!
