Use it or Lose it Stew!

I had a load of veg on “use - by” dates, and I hate to waste food, so made a broth and added some other stuff from the fridge! This can be made with any kind of meat, but check all ingredients for any blemishes and discard anything you are not sure of.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Chop up the Bacon and start to fry in a little Oil, in a large pan. Meanwhile chop everything else and add to pot when Bacon is cooked. Add the rest of the Oil.

* Step 2

Heat gently until everything is sizzling. Add the stock and give it all a good stir.

* Step 3

Cook for 5-10 minutes until everything is bubbling and the bits of carrots,(longest to cook!), are soft. Serve with slices of bread and a big spoon!. Enjoy!!
