Turkey Crown Roast Dinner

Turkey Crown Roast Dinner

Will be leftover cooked Turkey Breast meat.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Roast the Turkey Crown at Gas Mark 5 for One hour with a generous coating of Vegetable Oil at the bottom of the Roasting Tin or Tray Bake Tin, pour Vegetable Oil over the top of the Turkey Crown and then season the outer Turkey Skin.

* Step 2

After One hour baste the Turkey Crown and then cover with Kitchen Foil and then roast for a further 1 hour and 10 minutes. Allow too rest on a Dinner Plate and place the used Kitchen Foil over the top of the cooked Turkey Crown - rest for at least 30 minutes before carving.

* Step 3

Put the raw peeled potatoes and raw peeled carrots and Garlic Bulbs in the Roasting Tin, coat all sides with the Cooking Oil and Turkey juices and then roast on the One sides for 40 minutes and then turn the vegetables over, season with salt and then roast for a further 40 minutes. Roast at Gas Mark 7.

* Step 4

About 20 minutes before the end of cooking time - melt the butter in a medium sized saucepan and then add the Plain Flour - stir - and then add the hot Cooking Oil which has the Turkey juices in as well. Gradually add the cold water and then the last 2 cups of water can go in quite quickly - stir - add the 2 Knorr Chicken Stock Cube's and then the Gravy should be done within a Period of 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
