Stir Fried Chicken with Purple Sprouting Broccoli
Cooking the purple sprouting broccoli for the first time as it surprisingly come with the #seasonsupply ! 😊
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut the chicken breast in cubes. Season it with salt, black peppers, soy sauce and lime juice. Set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Clean, chop and slice the garlic, leak, onion and the purple sprouting broccoli
* Step 3
Boil a pan with water and salt then add the purple sprouting broccoli. Cook from 3 to 4 minutes, drain the water and set aside.
* Step 4
Heat a large frying pan add the olive oil and the butter, stir until the butter is completely melted. Turn the heat high and when the pan is hot add the chicken. Cook it for 3 to 5 minutes until it is brown and almost cooked then remove it from the pan and set aside.
* Step 5
In the same pan add the onion and the garlic then stir until the onion is cooked. Then add the leek and cook for around 2 minutes.
* Step 6
Add the chicken and the broccoli mix it well and stir for a couple more minutes.
* Step 7
As a suggestion eat with smashed potatoes as a side!
