Rock cakes

Should be higher and less flat than in the photo, less milk next time!

Ingredient

1/2 tsp

nutmeg

pinch

salt

115 g

butter

140 g

sultanas

1/2 tsp

mixed spice

115 g

sugar

1

egg

splash

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 190oC and grease a baking tray

* Step 2

Sift together flour, spices and salt then rub in the butter to form breadcrumbs

Add sultanas, sugar and mix well

* Step 4

Add egg and enough milk to form a stiff dough

* Step 5

Spoon into small piles on baking tray and bake for 15-20mins
