Potatoes in the embers
This is a great recipe for those late summer/early autumn days, when the weather is fine enough to sit outside by the fire. The number of potatoes depends on the number of people. This time we made just 2. They are best to eat warm, almost hot and they perfectly warm you up.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the potatoes and cover each one with foil. Don't peel them! Put these covered potatoes into the embers and wait for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of potatoes. Cover them completely with coals/cinders.
* Step 2
Carefully remove potatoes from the embers with tongs and let them cool a little.
* Step 3
Then remove the foil and burnt parts, add butter and salt and enjoy 😋
