Cauliflower Sabji

It is simple Indian side dish, goes very well with chapatti and rice. It provides the nutritional benefits of cauliflower, which is a good source of vitamin C and dietary fiber and can be helpful in boosting our immunity. The recipe is a rich source of vitamin C.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.

* Step 2

Heat oil on medium high heat in a large pan or wok and add the cumin seeds.

* Step 3

When they start to make a noise, add the asafoetida and stir for a few seconds.

* Step 4

Add the chopped onions and saute till they turn light brown.

* Step 5

Put ginger and garlic paste and fry till lightly golden.

* Step 6

Add the chili and turmeric powder and fry for a minute.

* Step 7

Add the cauliflower, salt and tomatoes and mix well.

* Step 8

Cook for 15 minutes under low flame. Serve with chapattis
