Spicy Pork & Potato Soup

Spicy Pork & Potato Soup

This is a very simply soup. Naturally you can add other Vegetables and Mushrooms. To add the spiciness, I used Gochujang (Korean Spicy Miso). I am not very good with Chilli, but 1 tablespoon, which seems a lot to me, was a good amount that created enjoyable spiciness.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat Sesame Oil in a saucepan over medium heat, cook Garlic, Onion and Pork for a few minutes.

* Step 2

When Pork changed colour, add Chicken Stock and bring to the boil, and season with Soy Sauce and Gochujang (Korean Spicy Miso).

* Step 3

Add Potato pieces, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until Potato is soft. Add extra Soy Sauce if required.

* Step 4

Sprinkle with some finely chopped Spring Onion and enjoy with freshly cooked Rice. *Note: You can pour this soup over the Rice.
