Savoury Cheese Biscuits

Savoury Cheese Biscuits

Many people bake sweet cookies and biscuits at home. How about savoury biscuits? These biscuits are easy to make. Once it is rolled out into a thin sheet, cut it into sticks, squares or any shapes you like. It can be a great family activity, too.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings
1 teaspoon

Caster Sugar

1/4 teaspoon

Salt

4-5 tablespoons

Milk OR Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine Plain Flour, Sugar, Salt and grated Parmesan in a bowl. You may wish to add some Chilli OR Pepper as well. Add melted Butter (OR Olive Oil) and Milk (OR Water), and knead to form a stiff dough. Wrap with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 3-4mm thin. Then cut into sticks, squares or your favourite shapes.

* Step 3

Line a large baking tray (OR 2 baking trays) with baking paper, spread the pieces, and bake in the pre-heated oven at 170℃ for 15 to 20 minutes OR until golden. Cool completely on a wired rack.

Enjoy as they are, or with Cheese and Dips.
