Pork Ramen Soup
To cook ‘Nibuta’ Boiled Pork, you boil the Pork block in water with Ginger, Garlic and Spring Onion. The water turns into flavourful stock and it must not be wasted. I make this milky Ramen Soup using the stock. This soup tastes like ‘Tonkotsu’ Ramen Soup that is made by boiling Pork Bones for many hours.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
After you finished cooking ‘Nibuta’ Boiled Pork, remove all vegetables from the stock.
* Step 2
Heat 1 cup of the stock in a sauce pan, and add a small amount Grated Ginger and Garlic for extra flavour if you wish to. Add Milk (OR Soy Milk) and Sesame Oil, season with White Miso and Soy Sauce to taste.
* Step 3
Prepare all the toppings. *Note: Today I added sliced ‘Nibuta’ Boiled Pork, Boiled Egg, stir-fried Black Fungus, blanched Bok Choy and Spring Onion.
* Step 4
Place soup in a serving bowl, rightly cooked Ramen noodles and your favourite toppings. Sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds, and enjoy immediately.
