Bacon Wrapped Roasted Cabbage

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Score the top of the cabbage in a cross hatch and core it. Don’t cut too deep or it’ll fall apart. Put butter in the slices. Season well and wrap in bacon. It took nearly a pound of bacon for me.
* Step 2
Wrap head of cabbage in heavy duty foil. Place in a roasting pan and poor a beer in the bottom.
* Step 3
Roast for 2-2.5 hours or til you’ve reached desired tenderness. Open the foil in the last 30 minutes to let the bacon crisp.
