Spicy Pork & Tofu Soboro Don

Spicy Pork & Tofu Soboro Don

‘Spicy Pork Soboro Don’ is one of my family’s favourite dinner dishes. But I started adding Tofu (ALDI’s Organic Firm Tofu) to increase the quantity, so that we can have it for lunch next day. The additional Tofu makes the dish healthier, too.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 to 8 servings
1 tablespoon

Oil

1 pinch

Salt

2 tablespoons

Sugar

2 tablespoons

Mirin

5 tablespoons

Soy sauce

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat Oil in a large frying pan and cook Pork Mince and Ginger, add 1 pinch Salt to season.

* Step 2

When Pork changed colour, add Vegetables, Sugar, Mirin, Soy Sauce and Toban Djan, and cook until vegetables are soft.

* Step 3

Add crumbled Tofu and mix to combine, and cook until the sauce is almost gone.

* Step 4

Half fill a bowl with freshly cooked rice and cover it with the meat mixture.
