Bread crumb biscuits 3-ways

Yummy way to use up leftover bread crusts or stale bread! Just pop it into a food processor, whizz into breadcrumbs and turn it into delicious biscuits. Use chocolate chips, fruit or nuts, or a combination of all 3.

Ingredient

Food ration :

10-12 biscuits

Cooking time :

10-12 minutes
1/2 tsp

baking soda

butter

100 g

sugar

egg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add breadcrumbs, flour and baking powder to a bowl and stir through.

* Step 2

Add cubed butter and rub in with finger tips. Add sugar, vanilla, and egg and stir to combine. Stir through choc chips, fruit or nuts.

* Step 3

Drop mixture onto a lined baking tray leaving room for spreading. Flatten with the back of a spoon. Cook in a preheated oven at 170C for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
