Julie's Cranberry Cake With Butter Sauce
One of my favorite desserts! We have an abundance of cranberries here in northern Wisconsin, so this is perfect for Christmas or Thanksgiving. You can most likely find frozen cranberries by the frozen fruit section of your grocery store :)

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix dry ingredients for cake. Stir in milk, butter until smooth. Mix in cranberries.
* Step 2
Pour batter into greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 375°F for 20-30 minutes. Watch carefully-don't overvalue!
* Step 3
For the sauce: mix sauce ingredients except vanilla in saucepan. Heat to boiling and simmer until syrupy. Remove from heat and serve warm over cake.
* Step 4
Can double recipe to make 9x13 pan, if using frozen cranberries thaw first.
