BISQUICK -- Butterflake Biscuits

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F.

* Step 2

Mix together Bisquick and cheese.

* Step 3

Add sour cream. Stir with a fork to make a soft, slightly sticky dough.

* Step 4

Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8 to 10 times.

* Step 5

Pat or roll dough into a rectangle approximately 9 x 6 inches.

* Step 6

Starting at shortest edge cut dough into six 1-inch strips. cut each strip evenly into three.

* Step 7

Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with corn flake crumbs.

* Step 8

Bake on ungreased baking sheet in preheated 425°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

* Step 9

Makes 18 biscuits
