Peach Coffee Cake

Ingredient

Cooking time :

1 3/4 cup

sugar

3 cups

flour

1 1/2 teaspoon

salt

1 1/2 teaspoon

baking powder

1 1/4 cup

powdered sugar

3-4 Tablespoons

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.

* Step 2

Combine flour salt and baking powder. Add to egg mixture and beat just till combined. Spread 3 3/4 cups batter in a greased 9 x 15 x 1 in pan (I used a 9 x 13 in pan.) Carefully spoon pie filling over Nate to within 1 inch of edges. Spoon remaining batter over filling

* Step 3

Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 -25 min for 9 x 15 x 1 in. pan or 35 - 40 min. for 9 x 13 pan. Or until toothpick comes out clean in the center. You may want to cover edges with tinfoil if turning brown to quickly. Cool on wire rack.

* Step 4

In small mixing bowl combine ingredients for the icing and drizzle over the top of coffee cake.
