Mutton paya
Delicious recipe. Paya is made with different styles but I made this with my own simple style. #nonv
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First wash the paya pieces 3-4 time nicely.
* Step 2
Heat up a pressure cooker with oil add cumin seeds and all whole spices, sauté it for few seconds.
* Step 3
Now add sliced onion fry it till brown then add ginger garlic paste turmeric powder salt green chilli paste, mix it and for a minute.
* Step 4
Now add the washed paya pieces mix it and fry for 5 minutes with the masala.
* Step 5
Now add enough water (add more water to sink the pieces) then cover the lid and cook for 1 whistle on high flame and 1 hour on low to medium flame.
* Step 6
After one hour open the lid stir it well and check the pieces became tender or not.
* Step 7
If it’s done then add water as required to adjust the gravy (gravy of is not thick) and cook for 5-7 minutes on high flame.
* Step 8
At last add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame
* Step 9
Our delicious paya is ready. Sprinkle some drops of lemon juice and serve it.
