Garlic butter for Asparagus

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Toss the asparagus, oil, thyme, and 1/2 tsp salt together on a baking sheet. Broil for 7-10 minutes and transfer to a platter.

* Step 2

Combine 3T butter, pepper, and remaining 1/4 tsp in a small bowl. Melt the remaining 1T butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes. Take off the heat and stir in the water (will sizzle).

* Step 3

Immediately whisk the garlic mixture into the butter mixture in a bowl until creamy. Spoon over the asparagus and toss gently to coat. Serve.
