ChanaDal Wada

Chana Dal Vada Or Masala Vada is a popular snack of south India. This is made with chana dal , spices and some herbs of your choice.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

45 Minutes
1/2 cup

semolina

to taste

Salt

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

2 tablespoon

oil

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and finely chop the spinach. In a large mixing bowl, mix salt, red chilli powder, cumin and boiled lentils.

Add chopped spinach and chilli to it add mix well. Knead the dough by adding a little water at a time.

* Step 3

Let the batter rest for 15 to 20 minutes and make a tikki from this dough.

* Step 4

Heat the pan. Add a few drops of oil and place tikkis on it. Cook on low heat.

* Step 5

When cooked from one side, flip it. Keep the flame low. Cook on the other side.

* Step 6

When it turns golden colour, serve hot with any sauce sauce of your choice.
