Homemade Schezwan Sauce

#2019 #OneRecipeOneTree #TeamTrees I was thinking to make this ultimate sauce at home through out the year but hardly get the time . But this contest reminds me of this sauce to be made as my favorite recipe. so here it is.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Remove seeds and Soak red chilies (you can use Kashmiri red chili as they are mild and give fantastic color) overnight or to have it immediately- Boil garlic and red chillies in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes. Drain water and keep aside. Grind chilies,garlic to a paste.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a heavy pan. Add celery ginger, chopped garlic and stir it. Add spring onions white.Stir fry till onions are transparent.

* Step 3

Add garlic chilly paste, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper powder stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Dissolve cornflour in 2 tbsp. water. Add to the mix.

* Step 4

Bring it to boil, stirring continuously. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, till sauce is thick and smooth.
