Ingredient

1/2 cup or less

Moong dal

4 tbsp

Jaggery

3 tbsp

Mango

1-2

Clove

1 tbsp

Almonds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pressure cooker/ pan, add 1/4 tsp ghee and roast the moong dal.

* Step 2

Add water, rice and Pressure cook it. Mash it once done.

* Step 3

Add Powder jaggery, mangoes and cardamom powder and heat it with water just to immerse it and bring to boil.

* Step 4

Let the jaggery completely dissolve and filter it and add to the mashed rice in the cooker.

* Step 5

Add cloves and switch off the stove, give a quick stir.cook for 2-3 minutes. Add nuts, cardamom for garnishing.
