Ingredient

brown sugar

bran

3 teaspoons

baking powder

1/2 teaspoons

salt

1/2 teaspoons

baking soda

1 teaspoons

water

1 cups

buttermilk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt shortening

* Step 2

Add molasses sugar egg yolks

* Step 3

Mix soda with water

* Step 4

Sift dry ingredients

* Step 5

Add soda mixture

* Step 6

Mix alternately with milk

* Step 7

Fold in egg whites

* Step 8

Put in muffin pan bake at 425 for 20 to 30 minutes.
