French Toast Bake

French Toast Bake

This is an overnight breakfast entree.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 people

Cooking time :

40-45 minutes
2 tsp

cinnamon

1/2 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar and the cinnamon. Set aside.

* Step 2

In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and salt.

* Step 3

Add cinnamon sugar mixture to the egg mixture.

* Step 4

Tear bread into bite size pieces and add to the egg and sugar mixture bowl.

* Step 5

Stir to coat bread. Do not over-mix.

* Step 6

Spray 9x13 baking pan with Pam spray.

* Step 7

Pour bread-egg mixture into pan.

* Step 8

Cover with plastic wrap.

* Step 9

Refrigerate overnight.

* Step 10

Preheat oven to 375

* Step 11

Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes until top starts to brown and liquid firms up

* Step 12

Rest for 10 minutes before serving.

* Step 13

Serve with fruit, syrup, powdered sugar and or cinnamon sugar.
