Blackberry Frosting

I originally saw this frosting recipe in a magazine years ago. It is so yummy, easy to make, and such a pretty color.

Ingredient

24 cupcakes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Puree the cup of blackberries in a blender or food processor. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve, using a rubber spatula to help push the juice through. This will remove most of the seeds.

* Step 2

Add the blackberry puree to the softened butter and mix together using a hand mixer. Slowly add in the powdered sugar while mixing until it reaches the desired consistency.

* Step 3

Use it however you'd like...for cupcakes or a larger cake, or for cookies.
