Yam fry

I always treasure my memories with my first time trial with food.Any taste that I love,it remains with me . Yam(elephant foot yam) fry,is somethings that has remained with me for a long time.I remember having it for first time when my mother in law made it .it is simple and easy recipe.

Ingredient

30minutes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Marinate with salt,turmeric and chilli powder.mix well and keep it aside for 10 minutes

* Step 2

Heat oil in a wok.when oil is very hot add handful of sliced and marinated yam.fry till It is brown and well fried.remove and spread in kitchen towel to remove extra oil.

* Step 3

Can serve with rice or munch on when hungry.just toss in a handful of curry leaves at end to the oil and add to fried yam.you can store in airtight glass jar.
