Aloo khorma

Goes well with jeera rice & kaju rice or chapati.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
1/2 teaspoon

kasoori methi

2 tablespoon

almonds

2-3 tablespoon

curd

as needed

Oil for cooking

1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala powder

1 tablespoon

lime juice

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

to taste

salt

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

2 teaspoon

mint leaves

2 teaspoon

corinader leaves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly will prepare a fine paste of coconut powder & almonds using some water

* Step 2

Heat oil and add chopped onions fry till golden brown remove it & set aside

* Step 3

Now in the same oil start preparing khorma like So Add the curd almonds paste already prepared next add whisked curd from room temperature then add in all the spices salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste

* Step 4

Once all spices added fry it well until it’s oil separates in between add the fried onions and keep stirring on simmer flame

* Step 5

Then add chopped sliced or cubed potatoes and a glass of water or according to the desired consistency as per choice loose or thick khorma

* Step 6

As it goes well with both light gravy khorma with rice & thick with chapati, naan

* Step 7

Now we will add potatoes then add kasuri methi crushed via hands then Garam masala powder, lime juice, coriander leaves

* Step 8

Then taste all spices as per your regular taste then keep it covered on simmer flame for about 10 minutes while the oil separates its ready. Enjoy the meal with bagara rice,zeera rice,naan,chapati,paratha anything looks delicious.
