Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a mixing bowl take wheat flour and besan.
also add chilli powder, turmeric, carom seeds and salt.
Add green chilli and ginger.
* Step 2
Add finely chopped methi leaves.
give a rough mix making sure the spices are combined well.
* Step 3
Now add half cup of curd and combine the dough well, add some water and knead the dough.
The dough should be of smooth and soft texture like of chapathi dough.
* Step 4
Add 2 tsp of oil and knead the dough for 5 more minutes.
Keep aside for ten minutes
* Step 5
Now pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it, dust with some wheat flour.
* Step 6
Roll it in a thin circle like chapathi and on a hot tawa place the rolled thepla and cook.
* Step 7
Flip the methi thepla and brush oil / ghee and press slightly.
* Step 8
Remove from the tawa when done. Enjoy with aam chundu
