Motte saru poached egg sambar

#flavour4 it's a local dish of Karnataka. Egg sambar can be served with ragi mudde or Rice. It also tastes good with parota.

Ingredient

5-6

eggs

2 tablespoon

oil

to taste

Salt

1/2 inch

ginger

2 tablespoon

red chilli powder

1 tablespoon

coriander powder

1/2 inch

Cinnamon Stick

4 tablespoon

fresh coconut

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grind the ingredients for masala in to smooth paste.

Heat oil in a wok add grounded masala paste and cook till raw smell goes off. Add required amount of water and salt and cook

* Step 3

After sambar starts boiling break open the eggs into sambar do not stir. Cook for 7-10 minutes. Egg yolk will also be cooked hard.

* Step 4

Serve hot with ragi mudde or Rice.
