Mango rice mavinakayi chitanna

Ingredient

peanuts

1 teaspoon

mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

chana dal

1 teaspoon

urad dal

3-4 tablespoon

oil

250 gram

rice cooked

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a wok add peanuts and fry when they are half done add crushed garlic. Fry garlic till brown add chanadaal

Add chopped green chillies, urad, mustard and cumin seeds.

After daal are golden brown in colour and broken red chillies and curry leaves.

After curry leaves become cryspy add turmeric powder and fry for 30 seconds

Add grated raw mango and salt cook till oil separates.

Add chopped coriander leaves mix well. This mixture can be stored for 2-3 days without refrigerating, 10 days in refrigerator.

Add mango chitranna gojju to rice and mix well. Serve with pickle and curd rice.
