Chigani

#sesamepeanut. It's a traditional food given to girls during puberty in south Karnataka. Gives strength for bones and tasty too.

Ingredient

1/2 cup

dry coconut

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Dry roast the sesame.

* Step 2

Finely grind the coconut.

* Step 3

Grind the sesame. mix jaggery and cardamom powder. Add coconut powder and grind till oil start leaving. make balls out of the mixture.

* Step 4

These sesame balls can be stored in air tight box for 20 days. Break balls and Serve with ghee. Or can have as it is like laddu.
