Seaweed Soup

Chinese Seaweed Soup for cosy Australian Winter ❤

Cooking instructions

Below is the type of dried seaweed we used. Gather & prep all ingredients (pic below).

We used only half of the seaweed (pic below). Next, heat a tablespoon of oil. Add dried shrimps. Stir for few seconds.

Stir in the chicken. Cook until it turns opaque. Add chicken stock or broth. Over medium high heat, bring it to a boil.

Next, add sesame oil, salt or chicken seasoning powder and white pepper powder.

Add toasted seaweed. Mix well. Bring to a boil again.

Add the eggs in steady stream while another hand stirring. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings accordingly. Serve in small individual bowls. Garnish with chopped green onions.
