Easy Microwave Custard Pudding with 3 Ingredients

I wanted to make an easy pudding for just 1 person. I don't know if it makes a difference in the consistency of the pudding, but I used additive-free milk.

Ingredient

150 ml

Milk

Sugar

1 tsp

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First make the caramel sauce.

* Step 2

Place the sugar and water in a mug and microwave at 500 W for 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

* Step 3

Once it changes to an amber color, remove from the microwave and add 1 teaspoon of water. It may sputter, so be careful!

* Step 4

Set the caramel aside for about 5 minutes until it hardens.

* Step 5

If it doesn't turn amber in color, microwave in 10 second intervals until it does.

* Step 6

Next, make the pudding mixture.

* Step 7

Break the egg into a bowl. Add the milk and sugar and mix well.

* Step 8

Strain the mixture through a tea strainer as your pour it into the mug with the caramel.

* Step 9

Lightly cover the mug with plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

* Step 10

Once the surface has slightly swelled and hardened, it's done. Remove from the microwave and let it sit until it cools.

* Step 11

Chill well in the refrigerator and then enjoy.

* Step 12

Flip the mug upside down onto a plate and give it a little shake to release the pudding.
