Mexican rice 3.0

For a larger helping, serving more than 3-4 people, double the ingredients. Example: 2 cups rice, 4 cups water, 1 onion, 1 can tomato sauce (8oz can), 2 spoonfuls of spices and bullion (or 2 bullion cubes instead of 1), 1 whole lime.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a skillet on the stove top, heat rice and chopped onion with a drizzle of oil. Heat rice until it’s a little browned.

Then add the 2 cups of water, 1/2 can tomato sauce, spoonful garlic powder, spoonful of tomato bullion, spoonful of chicken bullion, and then squeeze the lime into the skillet. Stir together, bring to boil, reduce heat to low, put a lid on it, and let it simmer on low for 20 minutes.
