Homemade Hamburger Buns

Homemade Hamburger Buns

Light and softer than regular. I found it online a long time ago.

Ingredient

Food ration :

8 buns

Cooking time :

About 20 prep, 1-hour rising, shaping,15m bake
3/4 cup

warm water

2 Tbs

honey

1 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In the bowl a stand mixer with a dough hook, combine the warm water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.

* Step 2

Add the honey, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth.

* Step 3

Add in 2 cups flour and mix until blended.

* Step 4

Add salt and remaining flour, slowly and mix until you get a kneadable dough.

* Step 5

. Knead on low setting for 6 minutes.

* Step 6

Cover dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

* Step 7

Divide dough into 8 pieces and shape into buns. Place buns on a greased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet and light flatten the buns.

* Step 8

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
