I love having pumpkin seeds as a snack. Any flavour combination goes - chilli and lime is delicious too

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

45 minutes
3 tbsp

olive oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the pumpkin seeds and remove any pulp from them

* Step 2

Soak in water for 2 hours then drain and pat dry

* Step 3

Spread out on a dishtowel and let air dry for 24 hours

* Step 4

Preheat the oven to gas 3 / 150C / 300F line 2 baking trays with parchment paper

* Step 5

Mix the oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika and salt together and drizzle over the seeds, tossing them to coat

* Step 6

Roast for 45 minutes, giving the trays a shake halfway through

* Step 7

Can be enjoyed hot or cold
