California Farm Feta Cheese Biscuits

Made with fresh farm made feta cheese, unsalted butter, white bread flour, and buttermilk. No salt is used since fresh feta cheese was made with salt.

Ingredient

Prep time 15 minutes, bake 20 minutes
1 1/2 cups

white bread flour

1/2 cup

buttermilk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix flour, 1/4 cup chopped cold butter, fresh feta cheese, baking soda, baking powder. Add buttermilk, stir till crumbly. Squeeze into ball, let rest 15 minutes. Roll out on floured cutting board, make four balls, flatten. If cheese is too fresh and makes dough too runny, ladle dough into aluminum foil forms wrapped around a wine glass.

Put in cold oven, turn on to 450F degrees, dough will rise and more than double. Bake 15 minutes, remove aluminum foil wraps, spray with olive oil, bake 5 more minutes. Serve. Enjoy.
