Peri peri Chicken Livers

The beauty about any liver gravy is that it handles it’s own thickening. You honestly don’t have to think hard. Just follow these easy steps, enjoy, and thank me later!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Gather ingredients and cut livers into bite sized pieces

* Step 2

Heat oil in a shallow pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and chillies just until tender. Immediately add chicken livers and stir-fry until no longer bloody

* Step 3

Whisk the salt, peri-peri powder, and sugar into the Worcestershire sauce. Add to the livers and stir. Add the tomatoes and just enough water to let the dish cook through and balance the flavors (i.e.,barely cover the livers)

* Step 4

Cover pan and simmer on medium heat for 15 to 20minutes or until the liquid is reduced by half to form an almost thick gravy

* Step 5

Enjoy with rice or bread.
