Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak chickpeas overnight in water and boil it and keep aside..(do not throw the water of chickpeas)
* Step 2
Take a pan add oil, add laung,cinnamon stick,tej patta,ginger garlic paste and saute, add green chillies then add chopped onions and saute for a min and add tomatoes cook well..
* Step 3
Now add chole masala,garam masala,cumin powder,coriander powder,salt mix well..till it looks like gravy..add little water..so the masalas don't get burnt..now add chickpeas with water..and cook on low flame..
* Step 4
Once it starts drying the water..with spoon mash few of chickpeas so that it will thicken more in gravy..and will get an osum texture..
* Step 5
Garnish with coriander and serve..with soft puris..
