Butter garlic mushrooms

#ebook -19 Hassle free starter or side dish that my kids love. A touch of lemon does magic to this recipe.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Remove the stem of the mushrooms, if they are too big cut them into two, I have kept them whole. Wash them well.

* Step 2

In a frying pan heat up oil, add cumin seeds. When they splutter add chopped onion.

* Step 3

Fry on medium flame until onion turns light brown.

* Step 4

Add well-drained mushrooms and salt. Cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes then reduce it to medium.

* Step 5

Do not cover, mushrooms will leave water which should dry off. At this stage, you will see some brown spots on mushrooms.

* Step 6

Add well-crushed garlic and pepper. Toss it nicely.

* Step 7

Add butter and lemon juice, cook for 2 minutes. Take out in a serving dish, there will be garlic flavoured butter at the bottom of the pan, spoon it over the mushrooms and serve.
