जोसेफ फ्रेंच नावाच्या माणसाने १७२४ मधे ह्या पदार्थाचा शोध लावला. फ्रेंच टोस्ट अंडी आणि साधारणत: दुधात भिजवलेल्या चिरलेल्या ब्रेडपासून बनवलेली डिश असते. हा पदार्थ गोड किंवा तिखट असतो. चवीप्रमाणे त्यात घालण्याचे पदार्थ बदलतात.

दुध

साखर
4 टीस्पून
सजावटीसाठी मध
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
एका ताटलीत अंडी फोडून घ्यावी. मग त्यात दूध, साखर आणि मीठ घालावे.
* Step 2
आता मिश्रण फेटून त्यात ब्रेड स्लाईस बुडवावे. मग उलट करुन बुडवावे.
* Step 3
तव्यावर बटर घालून बुडवलेला ब्रेड ठेवावा. जरा लालसर झाल्यावर दुसर्या बाजूने भाजून घ्यावा. वरुन मध घालून सर्व्ह करावा.
