Gosht ka Shorba or Lamb Stew

#cookpadindia #Ramadan #suhoor #protien #carbohydrate This is a very healthy and a simple Mutton Stew to put it in straight words. And this Shorba is the most sought after simple and easy comfort food. This Stew gives an instant energy after you recover from a bad cold and fever and do not feel like eating at all. This Stew along with simple homemade Rotis will definitely make you happy and feel better and energetic. As a matter of fact, this can be made and relished on any day for the whole family. It's a perfect one and is always my go to dish whenever I prefer something simple and that which is lighter on tummy as well. It's an absolutely easy one. Made with simplest of the ingredients or the pantry staples, this is excellent for all. Be it children or the adults, it's absolutely flavourful. It can be served with some crushed Black Pepper but I don't add it and usually it's a perfect example of something so light, minus the heavy spices. Although it's made with Lamb bone-in, it's still on the lighter side because of the absence of the strong spices or masalas. It's a good one for the strong bones and the overall bone density and health. Happy Healthy Cooking Everyone!

* Step 2

After done, add the marinated mutton bone-in along with about half a litre of water. Pressure cook for 6-7 whistles or more as required.

Open the lid only after the pressure settles down. Adjust salt according to taste and garnish with some more of the freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with homemade phulkas or rotis. Enjoy!

* Step 4

Nothing more! Nothing less! That's it. It's as simple as that. This Shorba is on the thinner side only. It's not thick nor semi thick. Enjoy it with rotis all broken into pieces and added to it. See to it that it's nicely dipped or soaked in the bowl. Or can eat just as you eat a roti as well. Happy Eating!
