It's made on Festivals as well as many important occasions in many a households. And there are umpteen variations of this creamy Dessert. In this particular one, iam using Almond paste and this was the most loved childhood recipe of me. My mom made this every weekend for me and now I do the same for my little one's. Nothing fancy needed at all. Just a few simple ingredients and you are all ready to enjoy it. Creamy and melt in mouth Badaami Shrikhand is all yours.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add thick homemade Curd to a cheesecloth or a clean Muslin cloth or a cotton cloth and place it well twisted in a colander underneath which there is a bowl for collecting the whey.

* Step 2

Leave it in the refrigerator overnight and the next day, it's all ready. You will get a thick creamy Hung Curd which is nothing but the yummy Shrikhand.

* Step 3

Now to this, stir in the soaked Almonds made into a smooth paste along with the Powdered Sugar and the Cardamom powder. Mix well and that's it.

Serve it chilled with some more Almonds on top. Enjoy!
