Hyderabadi Aloo Gosht with Green Onions
#GA4
#week11
Aaloo Gosht is a very popular side dish of Hyderabad. In this particular version, I have given it an innovative touch by adding Green Onions just for a lovely change. The whole recipe remains the same except for the addition of the Green Onions. I had served it with Khatti Daal and Plain Rice for Lunch. The colour looked so inviting and it was absolutely delicious. This side dish is very often made in the City and is the most loved one especially by the children. As it has Potatoes and Mutton, it's very much loved by the kids. Words cannot do justice to this beautiful looking gravy. One has to definitely give it a try to find out. Happy Cooking Everyone!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker. Add Onions, whole Green Chillies and Ginger Garlic paste. Saute for a minute or two on a medium high heat. Now add chopped Onion Greens. Saute for a minute and finally add all the spices and Mutton.
* Step 2
Pressure cook this for about 7-8 whistles or until done. Now let it cool down a bit before opening the lid. Meanwhile deep fry Potato cubes. Keep aside.
* Step 3
They can be deep fried if desired. Otherwise you can add them directly to the gravy and cook until done after opening the lid of the Pressure Cooker. You can adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your liking.
* Step 4
Simmer on a low to medium high until they get done. Adjust Salt according to taste and garnish with lots of finely chopped Coriander Leaves. That's it. Serve with steamed plate of Plain Rice, Parathas, Baghara Khana, Zeera Pulao etc. Enjoy!
