Traditional Jalebis (Fermentation method)

#new #week5of5 Absolutely yummy and juicy Jalebis. I am damn proud of my recipe as it is the first time I tried making it. It seemed as if I were a thorough professional and I simply loved my experience. Here I am sharing it with you all friends. This traditional method seemed to be easy but making it was always a distant dream for me. However I tried them with a little fear and a hidden hope that they would turn out good. And they did come out perfect and everyone were impressed. It's a lovely experience and I loved making them every bit. Happy Cooking Everyone!

Ingredient

Food ration :

5-6 servings
1 pinch

Baking Soda

3/4 cup

Water

1 cup

Sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare a semi-thick batter using the jalebi making ingredients. (The batter should be of flowing consistency. Neither too thick nor too thin.)

* Step 2

Cover and keep it in a warm place for one day. (This is an important step to get juicy and crunchy jalebis.)

* Step 3

Heat oil or ghee and start making your jalebis the next day. (I used a plastic bag and made a small hole in it. Make the swirls in a clockwise direction.)

* Step 4

Deep fry these jalebis on a low to medium high heat in hot Oil. Once done, dip them immediately in the prepared warm sugar syrup. Keep them in it for a minute or two and remove them onto a serving plate. Do not let them soak in it for more than two minutes.

Garnish with nuts of your choice and serve hot.
