Aloo-Palak nu Shaak

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First ready all the ingredients. Wash, clean and chop palak. Boil the potatoes. In 2 tsp oil roast the besan on slow gas.
* Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut into big pieces. Fry thenm in hot oil until a reddish layer forms on the outer side of the potatoes. Take on a plate and sprinkle some salt on the fried potatoes.
* Step 3
Chop onions,green chillies and ginger and garlic in a chopper. In 4 tbsp oil, add jira, cinnamon and cloves. Then add in chopped onions and saute well.
* Step 4
Chop tomatoes in chopper. When the onions get reddish add in tomatoes and salt.
* Step 5
Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Stir in between. Add in the dry masalas and mix. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring in between.
* Step 6
Add in chopped palak. Mix. Add in fried potatoes. Mix. Now add in roasted besan. (For binding)
* Step 7
Check taste and add more salt or any other masala if required. Add in water and set the consistency required. Lastly, add in malai and mix.
* Step 8
Switch off gas after 2 minutes. A yummy shaak is ready.
* Step 9
Serve hot with tandoori roti, salad and raita marcha. Enjoy the winter with tasty vegetables. Happy cooking.
